I use the blogging features of confluence to capture my thoughts as I think of them just to get them out of my head for review at a later time.A friend of mine stumbled across an OS X Dashboard widget which lets you post blog entries to your confluence area. Unfortunately, it was missing the ability to set tags for a given blog entry which is critical since I use tags to help organize these thoughts.I went ahead and made a few changes to the dashboard code to add this functionality for those of you who use this widget.You can download these changes here and replace the corresponding files in the “.wdgt folder”
